Gudanggorjang children greet trees

Posted by chacko on April 30, 2016 at 7:05 AM Comments comments (2)

Gudanggorjang children greet trees with flowers. They embrace them with affection. Soras as tribals venerate trees, hills, and streams. They too have rights. Trees provide them with fruits, fresh air and ground water. They are their best friends. Name of every tree is written in sora, oriya and english language with the name of the person who planted it and the year of planting. This is to promote mother tongue based multilingual early childhood education in the gudanggorjang model Anganwadi centre and integral development of the environment.
